Hello, first time on the forums, hope this is the right place! I am interested in making a program to start looking at stock data and was wondering if anyone is aware of a database service that provides an API to query for historical data. I have found hacks to download current stock information from Yahoo and Google, but I haven't seen anything that allows me to input the date or a date range and get those results. I realize these services are not likely free, but I am having a hard time even finding one to pay for. Anyone know anything about this? I see all this discussion about the algorithms, but where is everyone getting thier data? Thanks in advance for any help!
