If you've created more than 50 posts (actual conversations with other users and not just daily reports), you haven't spammed the forum and you fancy moderating.. let me know. I don't have that much time to moderate the forum these days and every now and then I go through and harshly delete entire threads / user accounts for "spamish" activity (Sorry if this has happened to you, but if you had read the rules, you would have realised this forum is not... for you) Most of the bots have been killed off these days, but we still get some "paid posters" which post very low quality posts (usually "thanks for that", or something less grammatically correct). These accounts just get deleted. Yeah, we're going to change the forum software. I've been developing anti-spam tools working with multiple APIs for other forums. I'll upgrade this forum at some point, most of the spammers here are human spammers, it would still be good to give them a clean up
